Company information Tracking System .net b-tech projects

CITS is a powerful human resource tool for maintaining employee and company information. More than a data storage program, CITS helps you manage your employees. CITS offers a wide variety of Reports that give you exactly the information you need. View payroll information by department, or find everyone who is receiving company Benefits. CITS gives you the power of information with different report categories.
CITS allows you to add and remove employees from the program and provides access to all employee information categories from Address History to Work Information. Organization files keep track of your company information. From this screen you can create, modify, and Remove company data. You can adjust data for company benefits, departments, evaluation categories, and Positions. It is a good idea to define your departments and positions before adding employees. You must also set up your company benefits and evaluations before adding them to your employee files. When you create a new category such as an Additional department or position, it is immediately available for selection in every applicable employee screen. Checklists assist you in office management by creating a list of items that need to be completed for a particular event. For example, you may want to make a checklist of everything that needs to be done when someone is hired.
CITS allows you to preview and print different reports that range from individual Work History to department Headcounts. Each report screen has different options. You can change the name of the report by editing the Report Title field. This will not change the name of the report in the drop down box, only the name as it appears on the report. The header includes report information such as the report title and date. Your company name (if selected) and report title will appear in every header. If you choose to have your company logo displayed on your report, it will appear in the top left corner. The date range of the report is displayed below the title. The date of the report is in the top right corner directly above the page number. The header may also contain information such as the employee name, department, and Selection Criteria

A web-based system for reporting/tracking IT problems within a company .Net Projects

PROJECT TITLE

A web-based system for reporting/tracking IT problems within a company

SYSTEM STUDY

The present system is manual system. There we do all the activities in the project based on our assumptions and conclusions. In existing system all activities regarding projects like, System Analysis, Design, System Study etc… Should be done by the programmer itself. Since all are single handled, the time and cost for finishing the project will be more than expected.

Drawbacks:
1. Time wasting due to lack of proper planning.
2. Unachieved targets.
3. Reviewing of project tasks are difficult.
4. Poor resources planning.
5. Frequent rescheduling of tasks.
6. Failure in timely completion of projects.
7. Poor assessment of tasks.
8. Project administration is difficult.

Proposed System

If you are ever responsible for coordinating a variety of specific tasks that must be completed within a specific timeframe for a set amount of money . Developing a software product, publishing a newsletter, implementing a training program, starting a new business or even building a new home are some of the projects that millions of people embark upon everyday. How does this system help you do this? It helps you put together a plan of action, fill in and organize all the details that must be completed in order to achieve your goal. Right from building a new project to preparing your project for publication, tracking progress, analyzing costs, assessing the quality of your project and managing multiple projects, this system does it all. Apart from being an easy and flexible tool it expands into web compatible software, thus enabling easy communication. Internet Information server, members in any team can view project data with any browser and exchange information easily, irrespective of their locations.

To summarize, this system helps you stay in control with minimum effort and in minimum time.

Tasks: They are a division of all the work that needs to be completed in order to accomplish the project goals.

Scope: of any project is a combination of all individual tasks and their goals.

Resources: can be people, equipment, materials or services that are needed to complete various tasks. The amount of resources affects the scope and time of any project.

The this system communicates with you through its interface - charts graphs and sheets, menus, toolbars and dialog boxes.

Before embarking on the project you need to put down a few key points very clearly -

1. Conceptualize and identify the purpose of the project
2. Define its objectives
3. Define project deadlines, costs, team members and workweeks etc.
4. Finalize its scope
5. Break down your projects into tasks and assign them to different member groups
6. Identify its activities
7. Assign resources to activities
8. Make honest assumptions about various relevant factors that can affect the duration of a project and its costs
9. Discuss alternative scenarios and build contingency plans
10. Manage your projects remotely
11. Point out deliverables against each task, perform virtual check-in and check-out against them.
12. Identify task dependencies and parent-child relations.
13. Establish task teams, assign different roles to different members
14. Send automated email notifications to different members upon different events
15. Specify progress against each task on daily/weekly basis

A Communication Perspective on Automatic Text Categorization –java/dotnet

Abstract
The basic concern of a Communication System is to transfer information from its source to a destination some distance away. Textual documents also deal with the transmission of information. Particularly, from a text categorization system point of view, the information encoded by a document is the topic or category it belongs to. Following this initial intuition, a theoretical framework is developed where Automatic Text Categorization(ATC) is studied under a Communication System perspective. Under this approach, the problematic indexing feature space dimensionality reduction has been tackled by a two-level supervised scheme, implemented by a noisy terms filtering and a subsequent redundant terms compression. Gaussian probabilistic categorizers have been revisited and adapted to the concomitance of sparsity in ATC. Experimental results pertaining to 20 Newsgroups and Reuters-21578 collections validate the theoretical approaches. The noise filter and redundancy compressor allows an aggressive term vocabulary reduction (reduction factor greater than 0.99) with a minimum loss (lower than 3 percent) and, in some cases, gain (greater than 4 percent) of final classification accuracy. The adapted Gaussian Naive Bayes classifier reaches classification results similar to those obtained by state-of-the-art Multinomial Naive Bayes (MNB) and Support Vector Machines (SVMs).

Multirelational k-Anonymity --- dotnet/java project abstract

Abstract
k-Anonymity protects privacy by ensuring that data cannot be linked to a single individual. In a k-anonymous data set, any identifying information occurs in at least k tuples. Much research has been done to modify a single-table data set to satisfy anonymity constraints. This paper extends the definitions of k-anonymity to multiple relations and shows that previously proposed methodologies either fail to protect privacy or overly reduce the utility of the data in a multiple relation setting. We also propose two new clustering algorithms to achieve multi relational anonymity. Experiments show the effectiveness of the approach in terms of utility and efficiency
